Important material distinction

Polyimide Film is not the same as every converted Polyimide material.

Bare PI Film describes the film itself without an adhesive-backed construction. A converted Polyimide material may include surface treatment, adhesive, liner, coating, lamination, slitting, cutting, shaping, or other processing.

Performance and process behavior can depend on the entire construction—not only the Polyimide base film. Buyers should identify every relevant layer, surface, dimension, and conversion requirement before comparing options.
